Don’t Dump It, Donate It!

Located in Melonie Square Shopping Center at 80th and Indiana, Habitat’s newest ReStore will feature new and gently used home furnishings and decor for sale. A donation as simple as a lamp will help support Habitat’s affordable housing construction.

When you shop or donate at the ReStore, you help us build hope. All profits are filtered back into our programs to help low to moderate income individuals and families in Lubbock purchase decent housing thorough an affordable mortgage. Donations arrive daily and inventory changes rapidly, so shop often. You never know what you will find!

The ReStore greatly appreciates donations of new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances and fixtures. Read on to see which items we’d love to take off your hands!

Donations may be from remodeling jobs, business closeouts, contractors, builders or garage sales. All donations must be in working condition. Revenue made from sales directly supports Habitat’s homeownership programs.

Items We Accept

The ReStore greatly appreciates donations of new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances and fixtures. Read on to see which items we’d love to take off your hands!

  • Appliances: working, clean
  • Cabinets: not damaged, wood and metal
  • Carpet: no stains/odors
  • Doors: all types, no broken glass or rotten wood
  • Electrical: light fixtures, ceiling fans
  • Electronics: TVs, Stereos
  • Furniture: no rips, stains or odors
  • Hardware: knobs, hinges, locks, cabinet pulls
  • HVAC equipment
  • Laminate flooring: boxed only
  • Lawn Mowers: in working condition
  • Lumber: dimensional (4ft or longer) or sheets (1/2 or larger); no nails or scratches
  • Nails
  • Paint: unopened cans only; interior and exterior
  • Plumbing: usable fixtures, bathtubs, sinks, commodes
  • Roofing: bundles only
  • Tile: wall and floor; boxed and clean
  • Tools: hand, garden, and working power
  • Windows: no broken glass or rotted wood; double pane only
