Join our team for the 2025 Blitz Build!
Every September after Labor Day, Lubbock Habitat for Humanity kicks off one of our most exciting events of the year: The Blitz Build – a fast-paced, community-powered week of building homes, creating connections, and transforming the lives of local families.
From September 20th – 27th, we’re rallying local volunteers and organizations across Lubbock to help complete multiple homes that are currently under construction.
Each year, we pick a fun theme to energize our volunteer groups and make the week even more exciting. This year’s theme is sports, and Habitat will be showing team spirit by featuring a different sport each day of the week and dressing up to fit our theme!
How you can get involved
Volunteer
Grab your team, or come solo – no experience is needed, just a heart to serve! You can choose which days you’d like to serve, and which times work best for you. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old, and arrive to the build in construction-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.
